If you want to avoid drugs and medical interventions during your delivery, there are many alternatives to manage your pain. Until the early phase of work, you have no way of knowing what method will work for you, better to consider and prepare several options.

A hot bath or Jacuzzi may help reduce pain, accelerate the work and relax the muscles of your pelvic floor – anything you want at work. In the water, your body weighs about 90 per cent less than in air, which reduces the pressure on your joints and muscles and makes the work less uncomfortable. Remember that once the pockets of water broken, you do not take a bath. But to take a good hot shower to relieve pain.
Massage can reduce pain?
The massages can relieve pain and relax tense muscles at work. Use a fine powder or oil heated slightly for the better hands slipping on the skin.
Lie on your side on your bed or sit on a stool leaning on a table if necessary. Your partner will:
1. Massaging your back slightly on each side of the spine (but never above), going shoulder to the hips before rising up to your shoulders.
2. Putting his thumbs on each side of the base of your neck massing and outward along your shoulders.
3. Rub one side of your back pressing sharply with the palm of his hand, then gently with the fingers of one hand.
4. Dragging his hands up and repeat on the other side of the back, finishing on your buttocks.
5. Rotate its thumbs on each side of your spine back buttocks shoulders, then down to the buttocks.
6. Knead your butt between his fingers and thumb.
7. Finish by repeating the first step in the opposite direction.
