Make Your Dentist Aware When You Experience Swollen Gums

For the patient to be able to get an accurate diagnosis about dental problems such as bleeding gums and swollen gums, the patient must be honest in speaking to the dentist about the the changes they have experienced inside their oral cavity. Swollen gums should be noted and reported to the dental expert even if they have not recurred in a few weeks. The dentist must be made aware if there are sores that takes a couple of weeks to heal, or feelings of sudden teeth sensitivity to heat or cold or to acidity or certain foods. The patient should also need to mention to the dentist about any medications that he is taking in, the dosages, and the indications and contraindications, the drug side effects that he may have experienced while taking the medications.
