Eczema On Hands / Feet
Various forms, such as allergic dermatitis and irritant contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis and eczema can idiopathic dyshidrotic to lesions on the hands and / or feet lead.
The clinical picture may vary. There may be redness, scaling, small sores on the palms / soles, in the spaces between fingers and periungual, papules on hands and back of the feet and painful fissures and Hyperkeratosis palmar / plantar occur. Diagnosis:
The diagnosis is based on a thorough medical history and clinical investigation and patch testing, if allergies are suspected. Bacterial and mycological swabs can be used to the exclusion of super infections may be helpful. To the exclusion of a non-eczematous disease a biopsy may be performed.
Differential diagnoses:
Besides the o.g. possible etiologic factors for a hand-Feet ekzems are dependent on the clinical picture, the following non-eczematous diseases into consideration. For fissures / Hyperkeratosis: Psoriasis Palmoplantaris diffuse types of Keratosis Palmoplantaris that Olmsted syndrome and palmoplantar with Sezary syndrome and other cutaneous lymphomas are possible differential diagnoses. When bubbles, blisters and weeping: It must Palmoplantar Pustular psoriasis, epidermolysis bullosa Hereditaria, hand-foot-mouth disease, acrodermatitis enteropathica and in children differential Scabies also be considered. For erythema at hand and fingers back: dermatomyositis and lupus erythematosus should be considered.
