About teeth: teeth milk teeth definitive

How is a tooth
A dent is consisting mainly of 2 hard tissue: the enamel and dentin.

These 2 tissue surrounding the dental pulp which is housed in the pulp chamber at the crown and the root canals at the roots. The dental pulp nerve sends ramifications in micro channels that run dentin.

The enamel is the only protection of the tooth. It is a hard mineralized tissue that is constantly attacked by bacteria and acids.

Dentin is covered in the crown (visible part of the tooth) through the enamel, and at the roots, by the cement. The cement is a bone tissues.

The ligament alveolo dental: it connects the tooth to the jaw bone. There is talk of articulation alveolo dental.

The milk teeth appear at the age of 6 months
The baby teeth or temporary teeth

They appear from the age of 6 months. He said that a delay of several months is not worrying. However, only your dentist or Paedodontics (dentist specializing in dental care for children, not to be confused with the orthodontist) are able to inform you and possibly treat your child.

Order of appearance:

6 months: the lower central incisors and then the upper central incisor
12 months: 2 lateral incisors top and bottom.
At 1 year, the child therefore has 8 teeth.

Then the first molar before the temporary canines, there is a space between the lateral incisors and molar this, the dog, and finally the second molar.

A 2 ½ years, all the temporary teeth is in place with a total of 20 teeth or 10 per arcade.

There is no milk premolar, the molars of milk to be replaced by the premolars.
There may be significant differences in the order of eruption or a child to another. But the problems are rare and often linked to health problems in general.
